About The Position
Somnia is seeking a full-time CRNA for its Obstetrics Anesthesia team at San Joaquin General Hospital. This position offers a lot of flexibility, as it requires 8 24-hour shifts per month. The role requires comfort and experience with high-risk obstetrics, with approximately 180 deliveries per month, including 1-2 C-sections daily. The hospital is a 1152-bed acute care facility offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including ICU, high-risk obstetrics, pediatrics, and a Level III NICU. It serves as a regional referral center with a Level II Trauma Center, Certified Stroke Program, and 24/7 emergency services, providing exposure to high-acuity and complex patient care. The location is in French Camp, CA, offering convenient access to Northern California attractions.

Nice To Haves
- 4+ years of experience in high-risk OB is preferred
- Comfortable and experienced with high-risk obstetrics
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care within the scope of practice for obstetrics.
- Manage high-risk obstetrics cases.
- Work independently.
- Administer anesthesia for approximately 180 deliveries per month, including C-sections.
