About The Position
Join UW Medical Center Montlake's Anesthesia Department as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This full-time position offers flexible scheduling with various shift lengths (8, 10, 12, and 13 hours) and a diverse case mix involving complex patients. The role operates under the administrative supervision of the Chief CRNA and clinical supervision of the Chief of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. CRNAs are adjunct members of the medical staff and do not take call, work weekends, or nights. UW Medicine supports educational opportunities and professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Have/Obtain a Washington state Register Nurse and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licenses to practice
- Prescriptive authority
- BLS and ACLS and PALS certification
- Completion of an accredited CRNA educational program and national certification
Responsibilities
- Provide full-service anesthesia care for all levels of acuity and patients
- Work with all members of the surgical staff team in collaboration for best practices
- Have an unrestricted practice
