About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical and procedural cases. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pre-anesthetic evaluations, administering anesthesia, monitoring patients throughout procedures, and ensuring safe perioperative care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program (CRNA) required.
  • Current and unrestricted Florida CRNA license required.
  • Current NBCRNA certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Current PALS certification required.
  • Current HIV continuing education certification required.
  • Current Domestic Violence continuing education certification required.
  • Current Preventing Medical Errors continuing education certification required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications or comparable software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of anesthesia practices, pharmacology, and critical care nursing principles.
  • Understanding of general medical terminology and clinical documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide safe, effective, and patient-focused care.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) or more years of prior CRNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for surgical and medical procedures in accordance with established standards of practice.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and patient evaluations.
  • Review medical histories and assess patient readiness for anesthesia.
  • Determine and administer the most appropriate anesthesia plan based on patient needs and procedural requirements.
  • Utilize current anesthesia techniques, equipment, and best practices to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging developments and advancements within the field of anesthesia.
  • Verify patient identity and ensure complete and accurate health histories are obtained.
  • Order, review, and evaluate diagnostic studies as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Complete all required annual education, training, and compliance requirements.
  • Adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
  • Prepare anesthesia equipment, operating rooms, supplies, medications, and required medical gases prior to procedures.
  • Monitor and manage airway function and respiratory status throughout the perioperative process.
  • Provide continuous invasive and non-invasive monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
  • Assess patient responses to anesthesia and make appropriate clinical adjustments as needed.
  • Support efficient patient flow and procedural operations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
