About The Position
MUSC Health - Lancaster Medical Center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join our growing practice in Lancaster, SC on a PRN basis. The provider will work in collaboration with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team comprised of experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists. This role will focus on a broad mix of cases across MUSC Health’s campuses. MUSC Health - Lancaster Medical Center is a 225-bed, all-private room facility boasting over 1,000 physicians and care team members. Requirements
- Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
- Master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia (for those hired after March 1, 2019).
- Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.
- Recognized as an APRN or eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Administering major vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia.
- Providing anesthesia for outpatient surgery.
