About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Eureka, CA. This role is in an outpatient setting, focusing on clinical duties only. The coverage period is from August 1, 2026, ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. A minimum of two weeks of coverage per month is required. This position is to supplement existing coverage. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in CA
- CA DEA
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Ability to perform General Anesthesia (Adult & Pediatric)
- Ability to manage patient ventilation
- Ability to perform evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Manage patient ventilation and monitor vital signs throughout procedures.
- Perform evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the Epic EMR system.
