About The Position
This is a locum position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a hospital-based practice setting. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience and involves coverage for an initial 13-week period, with the possibility of extension. The CRNA will work as part of a collaborative, team-based model with available support staff. The primary EMR system used is EPIC. The credentialing process is estimated to take approximately 60 days from application submission.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA.
- Board-Certified.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for General Surgery, Spine, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Urology cases.
- Provide anesthesia for pediatric cases (ages 4 and older) approximately once a month, primarily for healthy patients.
- Administer anesthesia for ear tube procedures for 2-4-year-olds.
- Collaborate within a team-based model.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system.
