About The Position

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is seeking two locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its Anesthesiology team in Wyandotte, Michigan. This hospital-based role offers varied shifts in a Level III trauma setting, providing anesthesia care to adult and geriatric surgical patients in a fully equipped facility alongside supportive staff. The position uses a supervised CRNA model and includes work with a team of RNs and Surgical Techs in the operating room. Weekend coverage may be needed, and weekend availability is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
• Active Michigan license and current Michigan nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• At least 5 years of experience in anesthesiology.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Local provider status; mileage reimbursement is applicable.

Nice To Haves

• AANA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
• Prior locum experience is highly preferred.
• Weekend availability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a hospital-based environment.
• Work within a supervised CRNA model.
• Administer anesthesia for general surgical cases, primarily for adult patients.
• Collaborate with RNs and Surgical Techs in the operating room.
• Participate in weekend coverage as needed.
• Manage care in a Level III trauma setting with 10 operating rooms.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient care and procedures.
