The role may involve exposure to infectious or contagious materials and radiation, and wearing protective gear in procedure rooms for extended periods. Most work time is spent on the feet; lifting and positioning patients may be required, including lifting objects over 50 pounds. Travel between locations is primarily during the business day, with some out-of-area or overnight travel possible; approximately 10–15% travel may be required.
