About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Simpsonville, SC, specializing in General anesthesia. The role involves clinical duties plus on-call responsibilities for a 26-week period from July 13, 2026, to January 11, 2027. The CRNA will administer anesthesia for approximately 200 cases per day, covering a mix of general, OB/GYN, ENT, and orthopedic procedures. The position operates within a collaborative anesthesia team model and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Support staff includes one Anesthesia Tech. This coverage is needed to supplement existing staff.
Requirements
- NBCRNA Certification Required
- Active SC License
- BLS, ACLS
- Active DEA and CSR required
- Minimum 2 years of practice post-training
- Must have a clean background
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams
- Respond to call and callback requirements within defined response time
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
