Under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) develops anesthetic plans and administers anesthesia in assigned locations. The CRNA observes patients’ physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed by a physician. Additionally, the CRNA performs pre- and post-operative evaluations on assigned cases and provides accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
