About The Position
Fairview is seeking a CRNA with a strong interest in a combination Pediatric/Adult practice to join the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, which is internationally renowned for caring for children with common to complex health conditions. UMMC West Bank is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Minnesota and has students, residents and fellows placed in this OR daily. The West Bank has 15 operating rooms, 1 EP Lab, and 1 Cath Lab serving an average of 36 cases per day. We provide innovative surgical suites for adult and pediatric patients. Surgeries in this unit are team based among these specialties: Ortho/Spine/Oral (mainly adults), Peds CV-Hearts/Cardio Thoracic, Peds Neuro/Generals/Urology/Bariatrics, Peds Transplant, Adult Urology, GYN, ENT/Eye/Plastics, Peds Dental and Da Vinci Robotics. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist training program.
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- Board certified or eligible from the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Nice To Haves
- Current pediatric anesthesia experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Anesthesiologists.
- Manage clinical care using a multidisciplinary team approach.
