77 Consultants is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated team in Downey. Requirements
- Coverage Dates: Monday to Friday
- 2 providers from 07:00 to 15:30
- 1 provider from 11:00 to 19:30
- Full-time, consisting of 8-hour shifts.
- Potential for 4x8 hour shifts weekly as well.
- Hospital environment.
- Full-time coverage, Monday to Friday
- 2 providers for 07:00 to 15:30
- 1 provider for 11:00 to 19:30
- Potential consideration for 4x8 hour work schedules.
- Estimated patient cases vary based on room assignments, ranging from 3 to 8 cases per day.
- Staffing model includes a 1:3 MD supervision ratio.
- Utilization of EPIC for documentation and patient management.
- Candidates must be Board Certified.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before and during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to formulate anesthesia care plans
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient status
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when needed
- Stay current with best practices in anesthesia and patient care
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Procedural coverage in the following areas: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Healthy Pediatrics, Head and Neck, Thoracic Surgery, and Interventional Radiology.
- Coverage is strictly for the operating room; no responsibilities related to Labor and Delivery.
