About The Position

U.S. Anesthesia Partners – North Texas is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team at Baylor University Medical Center in downtown Dallas. This position is at a Level 1 trauma center and offers flexibility in work hours, including choices in full-time status with 30/32/36/40-hour work weeks and various shift lengths (6/8/10/12-hour options). The role involves higher acuity cases within a supportive Care Team model, with opportunities for regional anesthesia, invasive lines, precepting, working with specialty teams, and participating in an on-site sim lab. Voluntary weekend call is available with a stipend, and overtime opportunities exist. A full-time night shift position is also available.

Requirements

All USAP Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist must meet state licensure requirements.
CRNAs must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases including general surgery, trauma, kidney/pancreas transplant, orthopedics, ENT, vascular, spine, plastics, bariatric, endoscopy, IR, urology, thoracic, GYN, and optional OB.
Perform regional anesthesia.
Insert invasive lines.
Precept Registered Nurse Anesthesia Residents (RRNAs).
Work with specialty teams.
Participate in on-site sim lab.
Provide anesthesia services within a supportive Care Team model.
Engage in shared decision-making for higher acuity cases.
