About The Position

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team. Requirements

• Registered nurse who has completed a formal program in nurse anesthesia.
• Minimum of a Master’s degree required.
• Credentialing by an applicable Mayo Clinic legal entity is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral (DNP, DNAP, DrAP, PhD) degree preferred.
• PALS certification preferred for those working consistently with pediatric patients.
• NRP certification preferred for those working consistently with OB patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest quality patient care by placing the needs of the patient first.
• Work with a variety of cases including OB, in both an outpatient and inpatient setting.
• Achieve work/life integration with flexible scheduling (8, 10, 12, & 16-hour shift lengths/0.8-1.0 FTE based on availability).
• Utilize the QGenda scheduling system for access via phone or computer.
• Plan anesthesia care with competence, compassion, and accountability in a team setting.
• Participate in Mayo education and in-service opportunities to meet re-licensure needs and expand professional knowledge.
