About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum position in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves a collaborative team-based approach and requires proficiency in a variety of case types, excluding obstetrics and trauma. The coverage period is for 13 weeks with an option to extend, starting immediately. The schedule includes a combination of shifts with a requirement for two weekends per month, but no on-call duty.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 Year of experience as a CRNA.
• Board Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Proficiency in administering anesthesia for General, Spine, Neuro, Orthopedic, Gynecological, and Urological procedures.
• Experience with pediatric cases (primarily healthy patients aged 4 and older, occasional cases for 2-4-year-olds for ear tube placements).

• Option to extend the 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Administering anesthesia for General, Spine, Neuro, Orthopedic, Gynecological, and Urological procedures.
• Providing anesthesia for pediatric cases (primarily healthy patients aged 4 and older, occasional cases for 2-4-year-olds for ear tube placements) approximately once a month.
• Working collaboratively within a team-based approach.
• Utilizing EPIC for Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
