About The Position
This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative and patient-focused clinical environment. The role is ideal for a dedicated anesthesia professional who thrives in a hands-on setting and is committed to clinical excellence. As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in the Medical Practice by administering anesthesia and providing comprehensive perioperative care to patients across a variety of surgical and procedural settings. Working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, you will help ensure patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes throughout the anesthesia experience. Full time, and some call. Inpatient.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Anesthesia-related field
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Valid registered nurse (RN) and advanced practice licensure
- Proven experience administering anesthesia in a clinical or surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and monitoring equipment
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Attention to detail in documentation and patient monitoring
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team
- Willingness to work on-site in Fortuna as required
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical and medical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluate patient medical histories
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological responses throughout procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Manage airway and respiratory support during anesthesia administration
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Document anesthesia records accurately and maintain compliance with clinical standards
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patient recovery
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and expectations
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practice and technology
