As part of the team, you’ll work side-by-side with forward-thinking professionals who strive to provide the highest quality medical care by meeting and exceeding standards for clinical outcomes while delivering exceptional patient service in an evolving healthcare environment. This is a full-time position with weekly late night and Saturday rotations. The role is responsible for providing high-quality direct patient care while assisting providers and other clinical staff with patient care, other clinical, and administrative duties in a professional manner. The ability to competently and skillfully perform all clinical and clerical functions including, but not limited to: vital signs, injections, patient interview, electronic documentation, screening tools, lab/specimen prep, point of care collection and processing, and processing records is essential. Must provide age-appropriate care in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the patient served. Essential Functions include preparing patients for examination by performing physical tests, obtaining vitals, and reporting patient history summary. The ideal candidate will be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and work well both independently and as a part of a team. Responsibilities also include preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and being comfortable working with patients (newborns up to mid 20s), parents, and family members. Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc. is crucial. The role also involves aiding staff, providers, and other faculty as needed, and performing additional job-related duties as assigned.
