About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to join their team. This role involves assisting patients in developing and monitoring recovery plans, teaching and coaching them on accessing resources, cultivating symptom management skills, and aiding in employment and housing attainment. The specialist will also monitor patient reactions to prescribed medications and communicate any significant changes to medical providers. Crossroads Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, aiming to combat the opioid epidemic and guide individuals toward long-term recovery. The company operates outpatient, office-based clinics across multiple states and emphasizes diversity and an inclusive environment.

Requirements

At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.
Must hold an active, unencumbered, Certified Peer Support Specialist certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, community health, care coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and monitoring recovery plans in collaboration with patients.
Teach, role model, and coach patients on how to access helpful resources within their community and healthcare systems.
Assist patients in cultivating best practices for management of symptoms related to their treatment.
Assist with developing necessary skills to attain and maintain employment/housing.
Work with patients to identify how they are reacting to prescribed treatment medications.
Communicate any impactful changes with any necessary medical providers related to the patients treatment.
