About The Position

MVP Recovery is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and professional Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) Coordinator to help lead and oversee recovery support services throughout Chester County. As one of the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health and recovery support organizations in the Philadelphia region, MVP Recovery is committed to innovation, collaboration, positivity, and excellence in care. We are seeking a strong leader who is passionate about recovery, mentorship, team development, and community collaboration. The CRS Coordinator will provide leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for Certified Recovery Specialists serving individuals and families throughout Chester County while also serving as a direct liaison between MVP Recovery, county leadership, courts, and community stakeholders. The Chester County CRS Coordinator will oversee and support a team of up to eight Certified Recovery Specialists (CRSs) providing recovery support services throughout Chester County. The Coordinator will serve as the direct point of contact for MVP Recovery senior leadership, Chester County Department of Human Services, Chester County Drug & Alcohol, courts, probation, treatment providers, recovery houses, and other county partners. This position may maintain a limited caseload as needed while ensuring quality service delivery, compliance, staff support, and strong collaboration with county systems and stakeholders. The CRS Coordinator will provide weekly supervision, mentorship, guidance, and operational oversight to CRSs while helping ensure high-quality recovery support services are delivered professionally, ethically, and effectively.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) Certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and support staff effectively
  • Experience working within behavioral health, recovery support, criminal justice, or treatment systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Professional, responsible, and highly motivated

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or leadership experience (CRS Supervisor Certification and/or ability to obtain certification upon hire)
  • Knowledge of Chester County behavioral health and recovery systems
  • Experience collaborating with courts, probation, county agencies, and treatment providers

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for up to eight Certified Recovery Specialists
  • Conduct weekly supervision meetings and ongoing staff support for CRSs
  • Assist with onboarding, mentorship, scheduling, workflow management, and performance oversight
  • Maintain a caseload of up to 30 clients as needed
  • Serve as the direct liaison between MVP Recovery and: Chester County Department of Human Services, Chester County Drug & Alcohol, Chester County Court of Common Pleas, Diversionary Courts, Drug Court, Recovery Court, Office of Probation and Parole, Children and Youth Services (CYS), Children, Youth & Family Services (CYFS), DDAP licensed county-contracted recovery houses, Treatment providers and recovery support organizations
  • Ensure all CRS services are delivered in accordance with CRS ethics, guidelines, and professional standards
  • Maintain communication with senior management regarding program operations, challenges, outcomes, and county collaboration
  • Assist with program development, outreach initiatives, presentations, and community engagement activities
  • Participate in outreach events and educational presentations, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
  • Monitor documentation, communication, reporting, and compliance standards
  • Provide direct CRS services and maintain a caseload as needed
  • Support linkage to treatment, housing, employment, transportation, healthcare, and other social determinants of health resources
  • Promote a culture of positivity, teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and innovation
  • Ensure staff maintain professionalism, appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful communication with all individuals and systems served
  • Adhere to MVP Recovery policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
