About The Position

A ForMotion Certified Prosthetist Orthotist 2 is a clinician who works with increasing independence, manages moderate-complexity cases, and contributes to team mentorship and operational initiatives. The role involves evaluating patients, planning treatment, collaborating on custom designs, fitting and adjusting devices, documenting clinical activity, educating patients, supporting colleagues, and contributing to referral development and local outreach. The clinician works independently while reporting progress and challenges to a manager, and informally guides less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in P&O, or a grandfathered Bachelor’s degree.
• ABC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience.
• Available during clinic operating hours and able to uphold policies with professionalism and fairness.
• Strong patient-first mindset and commitment to service.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Lead treatment planning for moderate-complexity cases.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team on custom designs.
• Execute precise fittings and iterative adjustments.
• Accurately document clinical activity in Nymbl and maintain rigorous documentation practices.
• Provide detailed patient education on device use.
• Support peers with clinical insight and training.
• Engage in referral development and local outreach.
• Work independently while reporting progress and challenges to a manager.
• Informally guide less experienced colleagues.
