About The Position

Empowered Pilates is seeking Certified Pilates Instructors for its Gilbert-area studios. The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about health and fitness. This role involves leading dynamic, apparatus-focused workout routines using equipment like Balanced Body Reformers, EXO Chairs, TRX, Springboards, and ballet barre. Instructors will work with clients of all experience levels, leading both group classes and private training sessions. Club Pilates offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to teach various class levels and formats, free classes, continuing education, employee status, growth potential, and a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
• Experience teaching group classes
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
• Focus on EXCEPTIONAL customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
• Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment

Nice To Haves

• Full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, while using a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate
• Uphold our core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed
• Inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
• Assist with membership sales and checking clients in
• Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every class
• Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
• Other duties as assigned
