About The Position

Empowered Pilates is seeking Certified Pilates Instructors for our Flagstaff studio. As one of the largest family-owned Club Pilates franchise groups, we operate 26 studios with continued growth. We are looking for individuals who are POSITIVE, ENTHUSIASTIC, FRIENDLY, and passionate about health and fitness. The ideal candidate will be motivated to build relationships with clients, lead dynamic, apparatus-focused workout routines using equipment like Balanced Body Reformers, EXO Chairs, TRX, Springboards, and ballet barre. We need instructors confident in working with all experience levels, capable of providing safe and challenging group classes and private training sessions.

Requirements

• Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
• Experience teaching group classes
• Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction
• Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
• Focus on EXCEPTIONAL customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
• Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
• Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment

Responsibilities

• Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
• Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, while using a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
• Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate
• Uphold our core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging
• Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed
• Inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
• Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
• Assist with membership sales and checking clients in
• Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio
• Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every class
• Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
• Other duties as assigned
