About The Position
This position will support 2nd shift occupational health operations in the NNS onsite clinic. The role works to maintain optimum levels of health, reduce absenteeism, reduce medical disabilities, and contain medical costs. The Physician Assistant will recommend medical and health policies and preventative measures for eliminating or minimizing industrial injuries and diseases. They will evaluate workers' compensation cases and provide medical consultation on temporary and permanent disability cases. The role participates in the formulation and administration of the organization's health care programs and may collaborate on related matters such as safety programs, industrial hygiene, and health promotion programs. This role will act as the lead Physician Assistant, providing leadership direction and technical counsel to less experienced members of the Medical staff. The position may also provide employee health services to one or more operating facilities in the organization.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of PA experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed Physician Assistant.
- NCCPA certified.
