Our Certified Physical Therapy Assistants enjoy some notable benefits: Paid Weekly Flexible scheduling, variety of assignments and work-life balance Contract, temp-to-hire and direct-hire positions Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University As a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Provide physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength or functionality in facilities such as nursing homes, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, clinics and hospitals Work with a team of physicians, nurses, CNAs, OTs and SLPs to provide excellent patient care Assist physician in evaluation of patient function and performance, as well as equipment needs Conduct therapies, document progress and make recommendations if therapy services should be modified Assist patient with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility Educate patients and family on established goals, exercises and self-care to ensure progress A few must-haves for Physical Therapists: Graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program and active CPTA license in Kansas CPR certification Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity and compassion Why Work for Interim HealthCare Staffing? Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program and active CPTA license in Kansas
CPR certification
