North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a passionate Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work with pediatrics. Requirements

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
  • 6 months full-time clinical experience
  • Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatrics experience
  • Home Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising PT according to Texas board guidelines
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
  • Plans for care to meet goals of the physical therapy interventions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Enhances physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment
