About The Position

Safely obtains blood samples by venipuncture or capillary collection from clients of all ages. Supports the general operation of the assigned section or shift. This position may require flexibility of hours.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting drawing patients of all ages, or active participation and successful completion of a Huntington Health-approved phlebotomy internship and training program.
• Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by the State of California.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service.
