About The Position
Scheurer Hospital, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a Certified Phlebotomist to work in the Laboratory.
Requirements
- Complete an accredited phlebotomy education program
- Be eligible for the certification exam, and certify within one year of hire date if not already certified
Responsibilities
- Responsible for drawing blood specimens from persons of all ages
- Sample processing, and supply re-stocking
- DOT urine drug screen collections
- Computer order entry, completing and distributing associated paperwork while ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information
