About The Position
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Certified Pharmacy Technician for its Marshalltown office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or HiSET Graduate
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 2 years experience in retail pharmacy setting.
- Models accuracy and efficiency in pharmacy related tasks.
- Working knowledge of retail pharmacy software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
Responsibilities
- Sterile compounding of infusional drugs after completion of in house training program.
- Maintain accurate patient medical and pharmacy records.
- Assist in maintaining drug inventories and department supplies.
- Complete scheduled and as needed cleaning to ensure compliance with USP 800/797 guidelines.
