About The Position

This is a Part Time position at the Main Hospital. The role involves IV admixture including drug calculations, sterile compounding, chemo and non-chemo admixing, and compliance with USP 797 standards. Responsibilities also include hospital drug distribution, accurately filling floor stock and Pyxis stock, fill lists and restocking, delivering medications and IVs to the nursing units, and unit dose packaging of oral and IV medications. The technician will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and must possess excellent communication skills and be a team player.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida.
• Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician, or willing to become certified within the first 90 days.
