About The Position
The Certified Pharmacy Technician II supports the preparation, repackaging, dispensing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products. The role requires current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification and registration in good standing as a State Certified Pharmacy Technician with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. The posted schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Must currently hold Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
- Must be registered in good standing as a State Certified Pharmacy Technician with the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
- Must have graduated from an approved Pharmacy Technician program and submitted documentation for the required pharmacy technician work experience hours, or have met the requirements to be grandfathered in by 2004.
- Must have basic typing skills.
- Must have working knowledge of computers and equipment used in pharmaceutical product preparation, repackaging, dispensing, and distribution.
