About The Position
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, this role compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. The position may involve related clerical duties, receiving and storing incoming supplies, and verifying stock and entering data into a computer to maintain inventory records. The Certified Pharmacy Tech relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Texas Pharmacy Technician Certification required
- No experience necessary
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
