About The Position

GOLFTEC is hiring a Certified Personal Coach for its Tempe location. Coaches help golfers improve through personalized game-improvement plans and use GOLFTEC’s technology to provide data-driven feedback. The role includes completing GOLFTEC University (GTU), a training program combining on-the-job training at a GOLFTEC Center with in-person training at GOLFTEC headquarters in the Denver metro area. The position offers a base hourly rate, monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based compensation. Estimated total compensation is $55,000–$70,000. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid after completing GOLFTEC University.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting is preferred.
Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics is highly preferred.
Affiliation with the PGA or LPGA is a plus.
Graduation from a PGM program is a plus.

Responsibilities

Graduate from GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program.
Use golf-industry technology to help students improve their golf games.
Recommend teaching content to support customized lesson plans for students with varying skill levels.
Provide GOLFTEC services, including TECFIT club fitting, outdoor playing lessons, and short-game lessons.
Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside the training bays.
Use GOLFTEC’s proprietary technology, including Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
Maintain the Training Center environment, equipment, and technology.
Perform daily opening and closing functions for the Training Center.
Participate in continuing education, including distance learning and seminars.
