The Certified Peer Supports Specialist responsibilities include: Under direct supervision, the Certified Peer Supports Specialist functions as part of a team to provide flexible services aimed at supporting, directly or indirectly, persons served. Provides expertise that professional training cannot replicate due to his/her own personal experience with Mental Illness They often act as a consultant to other team members, helping them understand the persons’ served perspectives and subjective experiences. This position has a high degree of person integrity, generates positive energy, and makes a difference every day.
