Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who has lived the experience of mental health and can comfortably share their mental health experience when appropriate with participants of the HOPE program. Candidates should work well independently and collectively as a treatment team member with a recovery-oriented focus. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn from others, the Certified Peer Specialist (HOPE program) position is right for you. You will work with clients who are between the ages of 15 and 25 to help develop strategies needed to enhance Independent Living Competencies such as Social Skills, Personal Adjustment, Vocational Skills and Educational Skills. Join our treatment team to experience the positivity of helping young adults and adolescents live healthy lives. You will be fully trained in daily activities to fulfil client’s needs. This is a part-time position that will report to the Assistant Supervisor at the Carbon/Monroe sites.
