About The Position

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is looking for a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to work in the medical department at the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson, MD. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, during normal business hours 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Requirements

• Must be certified as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
• Effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one (1) year clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and recovery services within the medical department.
• Build working relationships with patients.
• Function independently and demonstrate clinical competency.

• Salaries are negotiable and commensurate based on experience.
• Hourly Rate is $20.00 - $25.00

• MDSSL accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours of straight time worked, for a maximum annual accrual of sixty-four (64) hours.
