About The Position

This posting is for multiple openings of Certified Patient Care Tech - Pediatrics at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are hiring for Temporary and On-Call or Per Diem opportunities. The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. Requirements

• Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or current graduate of a state-approved PCT program (CPCT)
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Association for Health Professionals upon hire -OR- National Certified Patient Care Technician - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire -OR- National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant - National Healthcareer Association upon hire

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience
