As a Patient Care Assistant on our 3rd Floor Specialty Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, you will be a valued team member and have a positive impact on our patients daily! You will work on a 24 bed telemetry unit, primarily dedicated to providing care to patients living with Congestive Heart Failure. Ratios are typically 1:12-15. Unit is also an overflow telemetry. You may also assist with different units when needed. FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE (3 -12's ) Shift Hours: 6pm-6:30am You can utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
