Banner University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our Medical PCU Unit. The Medical Progressive Care Department (PCU) at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix is a department with heart, and all about the heart! On this unit we provide comprehensive cardiac care to a complex patient population. Our team cares for a wide variety of patients such as vascular, cardio-thoracic surgical and heart failure, and offers treatment modalities such as left ventricular assist device (LVAD), leach therapy and ultrafiltration (used for HF patients no longer responding to diuretics). As a Patient Care Assistant on our team, you will be involved first-hand in providing care that improves patient outcomes and an excellent patient experience while also having the opportunity for greater learning about the heart and all its complexities. This position is a full time NIGHT shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00am - 7:30pm. We use a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable. University Medical Center Phoenix is a nationally recognized academic medical center.
