Banner University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our General Progressive Care Unit. The General PCU is a 60-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit that caters to patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment. These patients may include those recovering from surgery, stable cardiac conditions, respiratory illnesses requiring non-invasive ventilation, or those transitioning from the ICU who still need significant medical oversight. As a General PCU Patient Care Assistant-PCA, you will provide routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. You will be responsible for ongoing patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provide a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department. You will be a valued member of our team and be part of strong team collaboration. Day and night shift positions are available. Day shift is from 7am-7:30pm and night shift is from 7pm-7:30am. Weekend and holiday rotations are required. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable.
