About The Position

Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining medication inventory and patient records, and filling prescriptions. They also assist with vaccine handling and administration and work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. This opportunity is at the Avita Crestline Pharmacy. The role is PRN; the pharmacy is open 7:30–8:00 on weekdays and 8:30–5:00 on weekends.

Requirements

• Must be free of felony convictions.
• High school diploma, GED, or foreign school diploma equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing in the State of Ohio.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred but not required.
• One year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or employer-based training program.
