About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join WelbeHealth in San Jose, California. This opportunity is ideal for an occupational therapy professional who enjoys hands-on patient care and wants to help frail and elderly participants maintain the functional skills, confidence, and independence necessary for everyday life. Working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will help carry out individualized treatment plans designed around each participant's functional abilities and goals. You'll provide therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and collaborate with a holistic interdisciplinary care team supporting participants with complex needs. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $79,000 – $106,000 annually and the chance to make a meaningful impact through relationship-driven rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program.
  • Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license or documented proof of eligibility for California licensure.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience.
  • Clinical knowledge necessary to provide occupational therapy services to frail, elderly participants with complex healthcare needs.
  • Ability to implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
  • Professional experience working with geriatric patients.
