About The Position

This position is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a Special Education Summer Program for grades K-2. The program runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from July 7, 2026, to August 6, 2026. Pre-program planning is required. The program hours are from 7:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with exceptions noted. The work locations will be Chamberlain Elementary School, East Taunton Elementary School, or Taunton High School.

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license from the MA Board of Registration of Allied Health Professionals.
• Ability to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the program dates.
• Willingness to participate in pre-program planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a K-2 Special Education Summer Program.
• Collaborate with the occupational therapist and other educational staff.
• Participate in pre-program planning.
