About The Position

Powerback is hiring a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a facility. The role implements occupational therapy programs and activities, follows developed recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments. The COTA helps patients restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence through individualized, patient-centered care. The position involves adapting to patients’ needs, collaborating with peers, and making referrals when needed to support patient care. The role emphasizes providing patients and families with high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (COTA).
• Be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
