About The Position

Clarksville Rehabilitation Hospital is a new startup with 40 private patient suites and plans to admit its first patient in October 2026. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant performs components of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with occupational therapy practices. The patient population ranges from adults aged 18 through geriatric patients with rehabilitation diagnoses, conditions, or other conditions requiring rehabilitation. The assistant helps patients achieve their maximum functional performance while learning to live within their capabilities, records patient responses to treatment, and reports treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames.

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
