About The Position
Lake Mills Care Center is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support and implement occupational therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. The role works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and is part of a fully in-house therapy team. The center offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options and welcomes new graduates, providing tools and mentorship to support their growth.
Requirements
- State of Iowa Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.

Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
- Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout therapy sessions.
