About The Position
Post Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to support residents in improving independence, daily function, and quality of life within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Active COTA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities focused on self-care, upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and daily living skills
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to support functional goals and independence
- Monitor resident performance and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising OT
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
