About The Position

Relient Health is seeking licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time, direct-hire, permanent placement opportunities within established rehabilitation departments across Maryland. These positions are located in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), retirement communities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, pediatric settings, and home health, depending on the specific location. Current openings are available in Crownsville, Frederick, Waldorf, White Plains, and additional Maryland markets. This role is specific to licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants practicing within a rehabilitation department and is not for a CNA, nursing assistant, medical assistant, therapy aide, or non-licensed support role.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
Active Maryland COTA license, or eligibility/pending licensure
Ability to work full-time in one of the listed Maryland markets
Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in a rehabilitation setting
Assist patients with ADLs, functional skills, safety, and independence
Document patient care in EMR systems per state, federal, and facility standards
Collaborate with OTs, rehab staff, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary care providers
