About The Position

This is an in-house, family-owned therapy organization, not a contract therapy company. The therapy teams are clinician-led and clinician-supported, allowing focus on delivering meaningful, patient-centered care. The role offers an in-house therapy model where loyalty is to the residents, not a contract company's bottom line. Therapy time is protected, with no routine non-therapy tasks pulling clinicians away from patients. Clinical judgment is respected, and autonomy is valued. Mentorship is available, and the culture is described as stable and family-oriented, with accessible leadership. Care decisions are guided by outcomes and patient needs, not short-term volume. Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization operating 12 skilled nursing facilities across Ohio and South Carolina.

Requirements

• Active COTA license in good standing
• Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under OT supervision
• Assist with evaluations, treatment planning, and patient progression
• Deliver patient-centered interventions focused on function and safety
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and the full interdisciplinary care team
• Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
