About The Position

Roseville Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation department. This role involves helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. It is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys hands-on patient care, teamwork, and working in a positive skilled nursing environment. Per Diem opportunities are available, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility to apply.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with EHR systems such as Net Health or PointClickCare is a plus.
  • Skilled nursing experience is great, but not required.
  • New graduates are welcome!

Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment to residents across a wide range of diagnoses under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Help residents work toward improved strength, mobility, confidence, independence, and quality of life.
  • Celebrate resident progress and help individuals reach meaningful functional goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and procedures.
  • Work alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team that truly works together.
  • Educate residents and families while building meaningful relationships.
  • Bring positive energy, professionalism, and compassion to work every day.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and provide services in accordance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
