About The Position
Functional Pathways is the therapy provider for Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers, FL, the largest Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the nation. Shell Point Retirement Community is a premier, resort-style non-profit, single-site CCRC life plan community. It spans a picturesque 3-mile waterfront campus along the Caloosahatchee River and offers a vibrant lifestyle for 2,800 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing. The community is located minutes from the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands and close to downtown Fort Myers' dining, shopping, and cultural attractions. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure.
Responsibilities
- Implement the plan of care established by the OTR/L and physician, delivering excellence in quality of care.
